Introduction on myself:
My name is Matthew Jeremy Dunn. I’m musician and song writer and Composer. I finished my degree in B.A Psychology in Infant Jesus evening College. My hobbies are Playing Piano making some music and I had personal journey of growing up with Asperger’s syndrome and autism. With the support of my mom and dad, I successfully completed my schooling, pre-university education, and college. And the last thing that I like is Car racing like say formula 1, Rolex 24 racing, NASCAR racing and many other car racing cup tournament.
My Experience in Snehadhara:
It was the best work experience that I learned in Snehadhara since when I joined on April 6th, 2026, when I met Geetanjali ma’am since when I came for the Karaoke night, I met her and she is the one who brought me to Snehadhara and I was really happy to know more about the organization
It was my first time learning things and knowing what does Snehadhara does and how did I make the posters and send it to Sindhu mam. She took a liking on the posters that I even made and sometimes altered using different AI tools like Chat GPT or Gemini and many other AI tools.
And I make videos and send them to the group which Sindhu mam added me to the group after a month to send the work itself. I even Puneet sir he is kindhearted person and whatever he gives me some work and posters I do it accordingly and correctly and if there are any corrections to be made if sir asks I do it well and make sure it’s well and perfect and then proceeded for the next. In life we all do make mistakes, nobody is perfect, but we do strive our best do well and better I should always carry that humbleness in the work.
I even got to Know about Shyamala Fernandez mam she is the HR or In other words, Human Resources She handles financial stuff in settling of the bills and mostly in dealing administrative works. She gives the files to arrange things like arranging the bills that is being paid from the organizations into one specific file each I learned and I got to know of it and it was easy for me to do it, and I got to know Rahul Vargheese he doesn’t talk much and he is way too focused on work and he also deals With business accounts data and mails too. He also helps me out in which bill papers must be arranged and put into which specific file, and I was able to learn and do that easily. I was able to get good look in the office in SJR Luxuria Apartments and Clay works an open space for different employees in different companies to come and work in. Even I got to Know about Shreya Talwar she is also known as Rewa among their queer community, and she handles the sessions .
First time in my life Sindhu mam took me to a home where I got to know most of the elderly people how are they living their lives and what are they doing how their health is. Some of the elderly people are either dementia or even having visual impairments. I learned from Sindhu how she conducts sessions and how Shreya conducts too to make all the elderlt People feel that they are home and much happier. I even learned how to Plan the sessions sometimes using the ChatGPT or with that alter whatever word document did ChatGPT make for planning up sessions for OM ASHRAM I’d be able to edit some parts of the session planning for the Wednesday session.
I even Learned about Indian Sign Language which Sindhu Mam asked me to learn about it and I did learn it and it was 3-day experience knowing of it and it was good to understand it what Indian Sign Language is all about. How do people communicate using hands and finger gestures and Why do they communicate and how the process starts in communication only thing is that I need is practice and practicing it better. I even got the certificate for it and send it to Sindhu mam.
I got to know new person who joined our working space her name is Yashasvi Walia she is psychologist researcher her interests lie in understanding how people make meaning through stories, relationships, creativity, and shared experiences. Basically, I say she is counsellor and she got to know more of the organization, and she even came to OM ASHRAM and with that I learned even a lot more on Snehadhara till now I still have a lot to learn more even if I’m employed because every day is day of learning new things be it in the organization or be it anywhere else in life.
I Learnt how to write the end of the day reports of what work I did and what did I learn on every day’s work, and it was simple Sindhu mam taught me how to send a report in mail and do it only in the evening around specific time like 4:00.I got to know more Sindhu mam she is an enthusiastic and creative educator whose diverse interests and skills have shaped her work with women, children, and communities.
I even got to know about Yashaswi Gupta, she is the the role of Associate – Ecosystem & Partnerships and an Arts Practices for Inclusion, supporting the development of institutional partnerships and engagement with the wider ecosystem. She asked me to make Canva video I was able to do that and make photo collage and she was appreciated with the work that I have done for her.
I even joined the sessions in learning more about Ajay who is Visually Impaired and slight hearing loss. Shreya handles the sessions with Ajay and most of the time of the session Shreya helps him out on in speaking sentence like forming words up and little bit of body exercise movement and breathing as well.
