Admissions
Give the pupils something to do, not something to learn; and the doing is of such a nature as to demand thinking; learning naturally results – John Dewey
Snehadhara is a cooperative endeavour with a vision to create an ecosystem where we can support each other and create greater opportunities for the many children and their families.
Snehadhara Foundation’s Nelamangala campus is the mainstay of our work. Our Direct Care facility in Nelamangala functions as a semi-residential set up from Monday to Thursday and also offers day boarding programmes for children with special needs. Specially crafted arts-based courses will be conducted for children with special needs who want to sample our work without signing up to be with the Foundation full-time.
We also conduct one-on-one sessions with children in our city office in Arekere, that works on individual goals of the children using arts-based methodologies.
With a physical Campus in Nelamangala and one-on-one sessions in the city, Snehadhara Foundation reiterates its belief that knowledge and the arts cannot be confined by boundaries of language, culture and geography.
Admissions are opened each year for our programmes based on the availability of seats given that we are a small set up. Shared vision and complete alignment in the philosophy of how we want to engage with the child are the key drivers behind admitting a child. To that extent we will have detailed discussions before we move forward.
