“I have known Gitanjali for a long time and when she started to talk about Snehadhara over a decade ago, my first thought was that I wanted to contribute in some meaningful way, but I also did not know what I could do directly that could help SF move forward. I came from a corporate and technology background, so I finally pitched in with what I was good at – helping them create their digital presence and footprint in the world through websites, social media, flyers, posters and a lot more.

I used to worry that in a world with a billion people and a million problems, what is it that me or a Snehadhara could do to shake things up ? But a movie I saw during that period – The Butterfly Effect – had a huge impact on me. A butterfly’s wing flapping in one corner of the world could potentially have an impact on the other corner of the world – and that is what I have seen in action with Snehadhara over the years.”

“I have seen SF move from a one-woman army impacting 10 plus children and then scaling it over the years to impact thousands of children and teachers today. The impact has been exponential and of a magnitude that we never imagined. It has been phenomenal and I am proud to have been a part of this journey.”

My aspiration for SF is to reach as many people as it can and one day, I’m hoping that we will run out of space in that box because of the sheer volume of direct and indirect impact on people around the world!”
