“It was completely different from what I was used to. I took it up as a challenge. And I enjoyed the learning journey” says Elwin.

“I am one of the newest in the team at Snehadhara. I got to know about Snehadhara and I applied and gave the interview. The next day, I just jumped into the bus and I was here. So yes, directly took a bus from Bombay and I joined. I work in events basically and I had been looking for jobs in that field. I was put in touch with the SF team and yeah, it all happened quickly.”

“The first day, when I came to the office, I was a little confused. It took me time to settle because it was initially not what I expected. But the environment was really friendly and so it didn’t take much time to settle in. With that of course, initially, every day was a challenge because I came from a very different work background. I got this new opportunity and though it was different, I was ready for the challenge. I came from an office job and suddenly I was working on social media, making videos and covering events. It was quite the speedy journey, a lot of good fun and learning. It was a rollercoaster with a great learning experience. It was special to capture the almost magical moments because being behind the camera, I could see the smiles of everyone.”

“Snehadhara is growing rapidly and I wish more and more of all that is coming right now. Through social media, I hope they can reach more places. I hope I can do well and contribute to this.”

What is Humans of SF?

This is a series on the humans of SF; an attempt to celebrate each of the people who make Snehadhara whole. Novelist Anne Sewell said “It is good people who make good places.” And amongst the many good people in this world, there are some here at Snehadhara who make up this good place. We are ecstatic to bring to you glimpses of the Snehadhara team. Join us as we delve into the stories of people who stand for SF.
